Arm Liposculpture

Arm Liposculpture Surgery
The back of our body is gravitationally-prone, and so the posterior upper arms tend to become flabby over time.  Unfortunately, rigorous exercise and maintaining a healthy diet do not rid the unsightly arm flaps for the most part because toning is hard to reach these areas.

Arm Liposculptre targets excess fat that accumulates in the upper arms. This is sometimes informally referred to as bat wings. Having this fat removed from the arms in combination with skin tightening, will make your posterior arms look more defined.

Expectations for Arm Liposuction?
Arm Liposculpture Surgery is performed in our outpatient surgery setting with all the safety, sterilit,y and standards of an operating room. Only local anesthesia is used for arm liposuction, which greatly reduces risks and complications. In addition, you can expect very few side effects. Patients remain awake and alert throughout the procedure. The procedure lasts for about an hour, and patients walk out of the office with their newly, sculpted arms. Patients can expect to recover from Arm Liposculpture within day, and be back to work and normal routines within days after the surgery.

Am I a good candidate for Arm Liposculpture
Most patients with excess fat are good candidates. The best candidates are those with loose hanging adipose tissue in the upper arm regions. In your initial consultation, the surgeon will inform you if you are a candidate for Arm Liposculpture Surgery.  In addition, you must be in good health andother prerequisitess such as a medical clearance, medical exams, history and physical will be needed.

Recovery
Patients will experience some mild discomfort after the Arm Liposculpture procedure. Light physical activities are permissible shortly after surgery. Our facility will provide you with a list of instructions to follow after your surgery.  Most patients can return to work within 48 hours, and they may experience some mild bruising, swelling and fluid loss. A compression garment or dressing is worn to promote healing, reduce swelling and provide the best overall results.
